The faculty spends multiplane research work on problems of modern cultural science, history of the Kazakh culture, history of the Kazakh and world philosophy.

Members of faculty participate in 3 scientific projects:

«The Kazakhstan national idea in a context of dialogue of cultures the East-West » 2007-2009гг. (Gabitov Т.Х., Abdigalieva G.K., Nurzhanov B.G., Abirova B.I.), «Cultural and philosophical paradigm of the Kazakhstan model of progress » 2009-2011гг. (Kulsarieva A.T., Masalimova A.R., Kobekova B.K.), Moldabekov Z.Z. Is the project head «the problem cultural and psychological adaptation оралманов and their ocurrence in the Kazakhstan society» 2009.

The analysis of publishing of faculty for 2009 has shown, that the general number of publications of the faculty of faculty has increased in comparison with the similar period of the last year.

In April, 2009 the faculty has lead within the limits of the 75 anniversary of university the international scientifically-practical conference «Philosophy of national idea », the collection in 2 parts in volume 44 p.l. is published. Teachers faculties participates fully in realization of the State program «Cultural heritage».

Gabitov T.H., Moldabekov Z.Z., Kulsarieva A.T. are members of group «Cultural science» and «the World philosophical heritage».

Professor Gabitov T.H. participated November 2009y.in the international conference on Islamic philosophy in Teheran (Iran), professor Abirova B.I. due to means of the grant « the Best teacher» there was on business trip in London (England) April-May 2009 г, professors Masalimova A.R., Kulsarieva A.T. were on business trip in Germany in November 2009 y.
