On the April,7-8,2016 the law department of al-Farabi Kazakh National University holds the Internationall Olympiad on law.

The aim of the Olympiad:

Disclosure of creative abilities, selection and support of the most talented and gifted students; assistance to formation of intellectual potential of students; involvement of students and young scientists to the solution of scientific problems of the present; developments of interest in scientific activity.

The Olympiad will be held on Kazakh and in Russian in individual and team championship. A team's line-up – 3 persons.

The Olympiad is carried out in two steps. The first stage – the test.The second stage – the solution of practical tasks.

The Olympiad is hold on the following disciplines:

- theory of state and right;

- constitutional right;

- civil law;

- civil procedural law;

- criminal law;

- criminal procedure law;

- ecological law;

- financial law.

The Olympiad is hold in an internal and/or remote order.
