9-10 January wasorganized 3x3 basketball tournament"Winter Jam". The tournament was organized by the Basketball Academy Drive supported by al-Farabi namedKazakh National University, the Basketball Federation of Kazakhstan and streetball league of Kazakhstan. The tournament was attended by 16 teams in the men's 16-18 category, 16 men's teams in the19+category , 8 women's teams in the16-18category and 8 women's teams in the19+category. In this tournament from the al-Farabi namedKazakh National Universitywas attended 4 women's teams, 1 team played in the 16-18category and 3 teams played in the19+category. On the first day of the tournament in the 16-18categorySquirrels KazNU team took second place, losing only to the women's national team of Kazakhstan. Recall that the national team of Kazakhstan will represent Kazakhstan at the international basketball tournament 3x3, which will be organizedin June in Astana (Kazakhstan). On the second day of the tournament in the 19+ category third place tookthe team WWtW, in which included Alpysbaeva BE - coach of women's basketball team of al-Farabi namedKazakh National University, and 4th place tookthe team Squirrels KazNU 3.
