January 28th, 2016 the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Kazakh National University with the assistance of a cultural representative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran will held the evening of poetry dedicated to the works of Rumi. At the literary evening the spiritual value of the poetic heritage will be discussed, fragments of the works of Maulana Rumi, known in the eastern Muslim literature as "the patron of lovers", will be read. The poetry evening will be attended by well-known literary critics, scholars and poets.
