November 20, 2014 at 10.00 Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty Political science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized an International Round table on “Philosophy as a vocation and profession”, dedicated to the International Day of Philosophy. Professors, PhD students and Master degree students participated this Round table. There were considered current problems of philosophy, methodology of science and socio-humanitarian cognition in this Round table.
