The delegation of Orenburg State University visited Faculty of Geography and Nature Management of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, represented by teachers, graduate students and students of the Department of Personnel Management, Service and Tourism.

The main purpose of their stay in our city - studying the opportunities and search for partners for the training of tourist practices. Department of Recreation Geography and Tourism provided advisory support during the preparation of the trip, organized a tour of the campus of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the tour, the guests visited the museum, got acquainted with the existing infrastructure and plans for the further transformation of the university in the Kazakh Research University, confirmed the intention to develop cooperation between the departments and faculties at universities. In the ensuing creative meeting discussed the harmonization of educational programs on tourism, the establishment of partnerships with a view to implementing the principle of academic mobility and exchange, scientific cooperation. Following the visit is planned to coordinate the contract of intention.
