During the period from 18 March to 30 May 2013, Department of Political Science has hosted Political Science professor Cynthia Kaplan, the University of California, Santa Barbara. She visited the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a course of lectures on “Comparative Politics: Methods and Theories”. The target audience of lectures of Professor Kaplan were undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department working on the methodological development of their research papers.
