Department of Energy and Ecology with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia in 11-12 April holds the International Workshop-Conference Tempus IV the European Union I-WEB «Integrating Water cycle Management: Capability, Capacity and Impact in Education and Business».

The purpose of this seminar is to discuss the environmental, socio-economic and administrative problems of water resources of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, analysis of existing in this region water resources management system.

Workshop attended by the following partners: UNESCO, World Bank, Middlesex University (UK), The Leipzig University (Germany), the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), the University of Cyprus (Cyprus), International Kazakh-Turkish University named after A. Yassaui (Kazakhstan), Kokshetau State University named after Sh.Ualikhanov (Kazakhstan), Kazakh-German University, Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Water Economy (SRIWE), Institute of Geography, Kazakh Fisheries scientific Research Institute, Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining.
