2nd Regional Interuniversity Olympics for tourism specialty students of higher educational institutions in the city of Almaty and Almaty region - is the ability to identify the level of theoretical knowledge and possession of skills, manifestation of creativity and leadership skills of future professionals of tourist areas.

In the competition involved more than 10 student teams from universities of Almaty and Almaty region. Competition, organized by the Club of Tourism and Sports "ZhasTur" together with the Department of Geography and Tourism Recreational Faculty of Geography and Nature Management, held on 13 and 14 April 2013 in 1^st hall of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management on the campus of the KazNU.
