An international conference "The contribution of the Turkic world into the world civilization was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science.

Head of the Chair of World History, Historiography and Source, Professor K. Zhumagulov actively participated in the conference with a plenary lecture on "The material culture of the Hun era of the Great Migration in Eurasia". Also the head. of the Chair of History of Kazakhstan T.Omarbekov made a report "Military activities of first Turks Hagan in the formation of the state" and Professor B. Karibaev - "Some aspects of the history of the Kazakh Khanate", as well as scientists in several countries near and far abroad.
