In L.N. Gumilev Eurasian was held the IX International Scientific Forum “Heritage of L.N.Gumilyov and Modern Eurasian Integration”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great scientist.

The forum was held in the following sections: “Nomadic Eurasian civilization: history and culture”, “The problems of ethno genesis and ethnic history of the peoples of Eurasia”, “Important issues of methodology, historiography and in the context of scientific heritage”, “Lev Gumilyov's heritage: social and philosophical, psychological and pedagogical aspects”, “Current trends and prospects for Eurasian integration”.

Head of the chair of World History, Historiography and Source, Professor K.T. Zhumagulov has actively participated as a moderator in the forum. He also made a report on “Person of Attila in contemporary historical reconstruction”.

An international conference has brought together scientists and politicians of several countries and foreign countries: France, Germany, Russia, China, Turkey, Hungary, Bulgaria, Belarus, Holland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, etc.
