KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY NAM. AFTER AL-FARABI

Kazakh National University nam. after Al-Farabi at 17th of April 2009 make a Memory Day of distinguished scientist, organizer of science and education, prominent politician ZAKARIN Askar Zakarievich.
ZAKARIN Askar Zakarievich was born in December of 1908 in village № 9 Zhangeldinskiy region of Turgayskiy province. Stayed orphan at 12 year old he made a tough way to the knowledge, manly overcome life miseries. Village school, primary Soviet school of party, school for youth, the Orenburg working faculty and finally, head university of the country Moscow State University nam. after Lomonosov M.V.- that were the steps of his way. Zakarin A.Z. was the first Kazakh- valedictorian of the most complex faculty MSU of mechanic and mathematic.
Further life way of professor Zakarin A.Z. is the way of self-sacrificing serving people:

1937 - 1941 – teacher of Kazakh teachers college nam. after Abai,
1941-1946 – participation in the Great Patriotic against fascist Germany and militarist Japan (awarded by battle orders and medals),
1946 -1950– continued science and teacher work at KazTU nam. After Abai,
1948 – defence of Ph.D. thesis in higher geometry,
1950 -1953– director of Kazakh teachers college nam. after Abai,
1953 - 1955– rector of Kazakh State University nam. after Kirov C.M.,
1955 - 1958 – minister in education of Kazakh SSR,
1958 - 1961– vice-chairman of council of ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs in Kazakh SSR,
1961 - 1970–rector of Kazakh State University nam. After Kirov C.M.,
1964 - 1970 - chairman of Supreme Soviet in KazakhSSR,
1970 - 1984– professor, chief of the cathedra of higher geometry at KazSU nam. after Kirov S.M.
