Resource and information center on NATO of KazNU al-Farabi and Student association World NATO is organizing II National Student Forum «Mini-model NATO: NATO cooperation with Central Asian states after 2014», which will be held on 25-26 April 2012, at the Faculty of international relations of KazNU named after al-Farabi.

The Forum will take place in the form of a role-playing game. During simulating the work of the North Atlantic Council Committee and the Military planning Committee, more than 60 students will review the situation in Afghanistan and the ways of its solution. Participants will form their vision of global security, international cooperation and the prevention of conflicts while presenting the position of each NATO Member States. This forum is a unique opportunity to acquire and develop generic professional skills. Participants must be able to understand modern tendencies of international relations, to know the rules of parliamentary procedure. The working languages of the Forum are English and French.

Мore than 60 students from various High education institutions of Kazakhstan, including KazNU named after al-Farabi, ENU named after L.N. Gumilev, Military Institute of ground forces, KarGU named after Buketov, KIMEP, Kazakhstan-American University, Kazakh-German University and Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International relations and world languages will take part in «Mini-Model NATO»

Honorable guests of the ceremony will be representatives of the NATO member states’ diplomatic corps and representatives of Afghanistan.
