The event "Last Call" dedicated to graduates of the Faculty of Pre-university Education of KazNU was held at the O.Zholdasbekov Palace of Students.
The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh and foreign graduates of the Faculty of pre-university education, teachers and college students, as well as students of the specialized school of the university. Parents and relatives of graduates were also invited to the event.

The graduates were congratulated by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev. "For the first time in the history of the university, 70 school graduates, 56 college graduates, 800 students take part in a large-scale "Last Call" ceremony. Among the students of the preparatory courses are our compatriots, foreign college students," the head of the university stressed. – Young people from Iran, Mongolia, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Japan, China, Turkey, Uzbekistan study at the Faculty of Pre-university Education along with Kazakhstanis. In the future, we want to see you among the students of KazNU."

The Faculty of Pre-university Education of KazNU was opened in 2011 and has produced today more than 7 thousand specialists from among foreign citizens from the USA, Europe, Asia, Central Asia and more than 3 thousand Kazakhstanis. Highly appreciating the achievements of the students, the rector particularly noted the student of the profile school from Mongolia Akgul Khayrol, who won the TV talent contest "Super students" organized by the Department of Information and Communications of the University. The TV studio "Farabi Media", on the initiative of the rector of the university, shot a clip, and the Akgul dance will be shown in the telegram channel and on the pages of the university of other social networks.

"You are the future qualified specialists who will lay the foundation of a new Kazakhstan. After graduating from a specialized school, you enter a big life. May your steps be successful!" the rector concluded his speech.

Then the ceremony of awarding the best of the best took place: three graduates became the owners of "Altyn Belgi", five people were awarded a certificate with honors, 15 graduates graduated from college with honors. Diplomas were also awarded to 10 active students and 5 foreign students.

People's Artist of Kazakhstan Makpal Zhunusova congratulated the culprits of the celebration, performing the best songs from her repertoire.

Graduates came on stage and sang the song "Native country". The event ended with a concert program organized with the participation of graduates and students of the Faculty of Pre-university Education.
