The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has started accepting applicants' documents for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The opening ceremony of the admissions committee was attended by Board member – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Lyazzat Yerkinbayeva, who wished the applicants success.
This year, 172 thousand graduates graduated from 11 classes in the country. Of these, 6,800 applicants for "Altyn Belgi". In addition, many graduates who graduated from high school and college in different years will enroll in universities. It should be noted that in recent years the number of foreign citizens wishing to get an education in the Treasury has increased significantly.

The system of electronic queues has also been launched," said Natalia Em, Executive secretary of the Admissions Committee, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

KazNU this year offers an unprecedented 10% discount for the following categories: citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among the youth left without parental care, children from single-parent and large families. In addition, this year young people who have fulfilled their military duty will be enrolled in higher education institutions on a fee-based basis without passing the unified national testing.
