Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kunsulu Zakaria.

At the meeting, the rector of the University Zhanseit Tuimebayev told the head of the Academy of Sciences about the achievements of KazNU and future plans, familiarized with the scientific infrastructure of the university.

During the conversation, the colleagues exchanged views on strengthening scientific partnership.


"After receiving the status of a research university, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University strengthens the priority of the direction of science development. To date, the university's scientists have developed 100 innovative projects. Currently, work is underway to promote and commercialize them. There are also startups prepared by students. The university has 16 faculties, 8 research institutes, 29 research centers and a science and technology park. In the future, it is necessary to intensify cooperation between KazNU and the National Academy of Sciences and work by implementing joint scientific projects," the rector said.

In turn, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kunsulu Zakaria expressed support for all initiatives aimed at developing partnership.
