Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries, the diplomatic corps and consuls at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the KazNU for the celebration of Nauryz.

Among the guests of honor at the celebration were the following: Deputy of the Grand National Majilis of Turkey Ibrahim Aydemir, Head of the TurkPA delegation Abdullah Nuri Aybaz, TurkPA communications specialist Tahmina Bakieva, Consul General of Turkey Ali Riza Akinci, Consul General of Uzbekistan Abror Fathullayev, Consul General of Tajikistan Ravshan Bobokhonzoda, Consul General of the Iranian Republic Fagani Mohsen, Consul General of Turkmenistan Ghadam Ilamanov, Vice-Consul of Kyrgyzstan Nurgazy Olgozhaev.

The honored guests got acquainted with the festive program and paid special attention to the traditions of celebrating Nauryz in the countries of the world.

The guests were presented Nauryz-dastarkhan of such countries as Iran, India, Turkey, China, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Mongolia, they were able to taste Nauryz’s dishes of different cultures. They got acquainted with the traditions and customs of different countries.
