BUKHARA STATE UNIVERSITY ADOPTS THE EXPERIENCE OF KAZNU

The delegation of Bukhara State University visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the visit, representatives of the two universities met to discuss issues of expanding cooperation and further creation of joint educational program. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization Yerkezhan Apsemetova and the head of the Department of Work with Graduates and the Alumni Club of Bukhara State University Lola Jalilova.

In her welcoming speech, Yerkezhan Apsemetova stressed that the Kazakh National University had a rich experience of cooperation with foreign universities in the field of science and education development. Currently, the university is actively working with several leading universities of Uzbekistan, in particular in the field of chemistry, medicine, mathematics, etc.  The guest of honor spoke shared certain details concerning the achievements of Bukhara State University, which’s one of the oldest and largest universities in Central Asia.

The main purpose of the visit is to adopt the best practices of working with university graduates, as well as to create a joint educational program with the Faculty of Philology. Program of the meeting included familiarization with the structure of the university, discussion on the areas of cooperation and transfer of experience of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to Bukhara State University in the field of work of the Alumni Association and Career Center. As a result, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation between universities.
