Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al - Farabi Zhanseit Tuymebaev took part in the scientific conference "Development of Kazakhstani science, topical problems", organized by the International Turkic Academy.

The meeting was attended by members of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, directors of research institutes and rectors of universities, prominent scientists, who exchanged views on issues of integration in the Turkic world, the development of science and education.

During the conference, it was noted that in the integration of Kazakhstan, which is the center of Eurasian culture, with the Turkic countries, the ideas of the First President, Elbasy, are of particular importance.

The issues of Turkic integration, initiated by the Elbasy, are being resolved today under the leadership of President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev.

Within the framework of this event, the 80th anniversary of the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Academician Murat Zhurinov was celebrated.

Rector of KazNU Zh.Tuymebaev dwelled on the merits of a man-intellectual, an outstanding scientist, academician Murat Zhurinuly, who made a great contribution to the development of Kazakhstani science.

At the end of the meeting, the rector of the university congratulated the academician on his 80th birthday and awarded the Gold Medal to Al-Farabi.
