VACCINATED REST AT ISSYK-KUL

Currently, 50% (1142) of the teaching staff, 44% (843) employees, 22% (4001) students are vaccinated at the Al-Farabi KazNU. As part of the coronavirus vaccination campaign, 100 students were given a 50 percent discount on accommodation in the university dormitory.

The teaching staff and support staff were provided with social assistance at various levels, provided places in dormitories for employees.

All recipients of vaccinations, including 4,001 students, received fashion products, tracksuits, and books.

The first group, consisting of 40 staff teachers and students, received a free ticket to a sports and recreation camp on the Issyk-Kul coast.

For 3 days, the recipients of vaccinations not only rested in the arms of beautiful nature, strengthened their health, but also participated in specially organized programs to spend every moment interestingly. The talented youth of the university showed their skills: they sang songs, danced to music, recited poetry. Curators-advisers conducted training seminars on the development of communication and leadership qualities, effective use of time.

KazNU employee Nurbek Nurzhan shared his impressions of the trip and noted that: “Clean air, good atmosphere, fertile nature, warm waters of the lake gave all vacationers a charge of strength and vigor. This is the best way to build health. The ride was great! I would like to express my gratitude to the university administration for organizing summer vacations. "

Teachers and students who have received the full cycle of the COVID-19 vaccine at KazNU from July 1-15 are issued a coupon for 1 month to the university cafeteria and additional travel on public transport is paid. Also, certificates for language courses will be issued.

In the coming days, the second group will go to the resort area of Lake Issyk-Kul.
