Today the International Turkic Academy and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed a memorandum of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The solemn ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zhangseit Tuimebayev, President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali, prominent Turkologist Osman Fikri Sertkaya, famous scientist from the Republic of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Guliyev, Director of the Abay Research Institute at Zhangara Dadebaev University and other famous scientists and representatives intelligentsia.

Speaking at the solemn meeting, the head of the university Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted: "Cooperation of the International Turkic Academy with KazNU, which today trains specialists in Turkic studies in our country, will become the basis for the dynamic development of Turkic studies in the Eurasian space."

The parties agreed to strengthen mutually beneficial partnerships in the field of science and reached an agreement on joint projects aimed at the development of Turkic studies.

The memorandum will allow the parties to initiate joint events on agreed topics in the field of science, exchange experiences, share important information and scientific publications, conduct seminars and trainings.

Under the terms of this memorandum, in the future, students and applicants of KazNU will undergo a scientific internship at the International Turkic Academy.
