The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Problems of Innovative Development of the Economy and the System of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Works of Academician K.N. Naribayev ”, organized jointly with KazNPU named after Abay.

The purpose of the event was to analyze the current state and development prospects of the economy, higher education, pedagogy and national education of future specialists, as well as to develop strategies, technologies and mechanisms for their effective organization.

The conference started with the opening ceremony of the auditorium named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.N. Naribayeva, which was attended by: Chairman of the Board, Rector of KazNU Al-Farabi Zh.K. Tuimebayev, deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.K. The plenary session of the conference was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Al-Farabi Zh.K. Tuimebayev. Welcoming the participants of the conference, the head of the university emphasized the relevance of the large-scale event, which is being held on the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence - the milestone that defines the vision of the future.

A well-known teacher, a major organizer of higher education for more than 20 years worked as a deputy minister of higher and secondary education of the country, minister and rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, founded his own scientific school of economics and educated more than one generation of scientists, ”said the rector of the country's leading university.

Noting the merits of a great scientist, a famous teacher, a major organizer of higher education, the speaker focused on the fact that in the context of globalization, socio-cultural changes and a pandemic, joint efforts of all those associated with the field of education are needed, since the lag in education in society means the displacement of our country to the edge of history. “The main task is not to lose the accumulated potential, to preserve all the best in Kazakhstani education, to prevent a decrease in the quality of training of specialists.
