Japanese language teacher of the Department of Far East, Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Samal Borankulova and Professor of the University of Tsukuba Takashi Ninomiya conducted a course of vocational guidance in Atyrau schools within the framework of the project with University of Tsukuba.

In schools of the city of Atyrau and Nazarbayev Intellectual School were informed about the educational process at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University’s Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Students were informed about Japan and the Japanese language, culture, the process of entering universities in Japan and academic mobility in KazNU.

In addition, video materials about the University and its graduates, as well as brochures were presented. Work on vocational guidance is important for the timely and informed choice of students.
