The Research and Education Center for the Study of Japan and Central Asia of the Department of the Far East, together with the University of Tsukuba, held a regular online lecture course on the topic «Learning Japanese language and Pragmatic Research» in the framework of the Campus on Campus project.

The cooperation agreement between Universities was signed four years ago, where the Campus Campus Initiative (CIC) was defined as the main feature of the partnership. After the launch of this initiative, Universities share their experience with their partners, thus allowing each other to use relevant research resources without national or institutional barriers.

During the lecture, a professor at the University of Tsukuba Ono Masaki told about the peculiarities of teaching Japanese, a special course «Yasashii nihongo» for foreigners, and answered questions from teachers of the Japanese Studies Department.

Holding such events at the University has become a good tradition. Online lecture is a convenient platform for discussion and exchange of scientific and practical experience, to strengthen relations between Universities and fruitful and versatile cooperation.
