Almaty, September 17, 2010: On the eve of the ceremony of "Dedication to students-2010 KazNU Al-Farabi” in the auditorium of Mechanics and Mathematics Department hosted a conference Intel Day for Students, in which the representatives spoke of the latest Intel platform solutions Intel, the next generation microarchitecture, Intel and Intel technology for high-performance, scalable platform with low power consumption and the prospects for development in 2010.
Making another step in the implementation of its strategy to production, dubbed «tick-tock» provides for annual updates of the production technology, and launching an entirely new microarchitecture, Intel introduced a new family of processors based on the new microarchitecture under a new trademark of Intel ® Core ™.
Attention students of Mechanics and Mathematics Department was invited to a detailed familiarity with the latest technologies and platforms, Intel:
• advantage of advanced 45-nanometer process technology Intel;
• new Intel platforms in 2010 for desktop PCs, innovative technologies for the desktop segment, their unique capabilities and advantages for users as well as technical details of the latest micro-architecture Intel ® Core ™;
• platforms for mobile PCs based on next-generation processor technology Intel ® Centrino ® 2, which supports high-definition video, improves performance notebooks, while their battery life and range of wireless communication;
• server platforms in 2010;
The Conference concluded with a drawing of valuable prizes kindly provided by Intel.
