March 29-30, 2018 the X Republican Student Olympiad in the specialty "Library business" was held in SKSU after M. Auezov.

It was attended by: Kazakh National University after Al-Farabi, West Kazakhstan State University named after Makhambet Utemisov,

Kokshetau State University after Sh. Ualikhanova, Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University, South Kazakhstan State University after M. Auezov.

As a result of the Olympiad, our students of the department of world history, historiography and source study of the specialty Library business - the team "ITlib" - took the 2 nd place.
