On November 23, 2017, a meeting was held at the Chinese studies Department, in which the head of the Chinese studies Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty of the KazNu named after al-Farabi PhD, associate professor Dauen D.B., professor Muhametkhanuly N., senior lecturers PhD Dosymbekova R.O., Kaliolla A., Sharypkazy N., director of the publishing house of Xinjiang University Makadas Asyuly, editor-in-chief of the publishing house Shalkar Kurmanbekuly, professor of Xinjiang University Wang Wei, and teachers of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages took part.
The purpose of the meeting of the representatives of the Chinese studies Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty of the KazNu named after al-Farabi, Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages and Xinjiang University was the discussion of the teaching methodology of the textbooks "大众 汉语" and "大学 汉语" in 4 volumes. The authors of the manuals are the teachers of the Chinese studies Department Dauen D.B., Kerimbayev E.A., Dosymekova R.O., Kaliolla A. The agenda included questions on the use of these teaching aids in the teaching of Chinese to bachelor students, proposals and recommendations were formulated, and also it was decided to jointly write and publish the Exercises Book 练习 册 and Teachers Book 教师 用.
