In the annual republican Olympiad on the specialty "Oriental Studies", held between the universities of Almaty, the following students became winners:

I place - Murzageldina Laura.

II place - Arappaeva Aizhan, Beisen Adelina.

ІІІ place - Estakova Diana, Karayeva Dilnaz, Temirhanova Aigerim.

The winners were awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Institute of Confucius at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University presented valuable prizes. In addition, the Consulate General of China in Almaty awarded three scholarships to study in China.
