March 25, 2018, in Almaty, in the sports complex "Dostyk", there was the 10th championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cheerleading. Teams from 5 regions of Kazakhstan, students from five universities took part: Narxoz University, Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University, Almaty Economic College, KazNU and West Kazakhstan State Medical University. In total in the competition there were about 500 participants from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The championship was conducted according to the program: "cheer", "partner and group stants", "cheer dance show", "cheer dance freestyle" in groups, duets and solo program.

The team of KazNU took the 2nd place. As a part of our team were: Ermuhanova Rabia, Esenalieva Aruzhan and Suindikova Milan - 1st year student of Geography and Environmental Sciences faculty.
