March 16, 2018 in the hall of the rector's office of KazNU named after al-Farabi solemn ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Olympic Committee and the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi.     

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation of the NOC of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the sports complex, the swimming pool named after. D. Balandin, Clinical and Diagnostic Center, Museum of KazNU named after al-Farabi.

In the official part of the ceremony of signing the Memorandum, the First Vice-rector Burkitbayev Mukhambetkali Myrzabayevich and Advisor to the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan Ordabaev Bakytzhan Kutymovich delivered a welcoming speech.

During the meeting, the two sides reached a consensus on cooperation and interaction in the advocacy and popularization of physical culture and sports, the Olympic movement and a healthy lifestyle among young people, and the attraction to spiritual and cultural values.

After the signing of the Memorandum the first pro-rector M. Burkitbayev and Advisor to the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ordabayev B.K. exchanged memorandums. Ordabaev Bakytzhan Kutymovich expressed gratitude for the reception and the event organized at a high level.
