The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the Faculty of Oriental Studies of al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Arab Republic of Egypt. Within the framework of mutual interests, the issues of student exchange, organization of programs for improving the qualifications of faculty teachers and internships for students were considered. In addition, the issue of accessibility of the works of Egyptian scholars for students and teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies was considered. Such meetings are of great importance for the faculty. To provide all students with the opportunity to travel to the countries studied and to exchange experience with colleagues abroad, receiving up-to-date information directly from the source is not an easy task. Hence, there is such a keen interest in developing mutually beneficial relations between the two countries. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Egyptian universities have considerable scientific potential, have ample opportunities for mutual enrichment with knowledge and experience. The meeting participants expressed great hope that the planned measures to expand and strengthen mutually beneficial relations will open new prospects for cooperation between Egypt and Kazakhstan.
