The opening ceremony of the Karamchand Mohandas Gandhi Center will take place at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 503 aud.
The event was organized by the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Faculty of Oriental Studies of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Karamchand Mohandas Gandhi was the great thinker and leader of anti-colonial movement in India, made a significant contribution to the development of social thought and philosophy not only in India, but throughout the world. He was the founder of the ideology of Gandhism.
The guests of the international conference will be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Kazakhstan Sri Prabhat Kumar, Consul General of the Republic of India in Almaty Sri Martin Syrias Slemens, Military Attache of the Republic of India in the Republic of Kazakhstan Colonel Nalawade and Vice President of "Tengri Bank" Dinesh Kumar
At the book exhibition materials of domestic and foreign scientists - Indologists will be presented in Kazakh, Russian, English and Hindi.
