Students of the Far East Department were given a special lecture on the economies of Northeast Asia

Department of the Far East of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a special lecture on the theme "Politics and Economy of Northeast Asia". Lecture was read by a professor and the head of the Department of International Affairs of Gang Neung-Wonju National University KimYoung Sik. The purpose of this lecture is to provide an opportunity for students to learn more about the economic and political conditions of Northeast Asian countries. Students and teachers of the Korean studies Department as well as students of other departments attended to this lecture. This lecture was paid great attention from listeners and, eventually, received many questions. The students received a lot of new information about the current economy of Northeast Asian countries and got answers to their questions. This meeting will contribute to the further development of cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of Gangneung-Wonju National University.
