Seminar-training on the topic "Information Technologies in Librarianship: Current Status and Opportunities" with the participation of students of the specialty "Librarianship" of the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology was organized in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (organizer - G.Sabdenova,  the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies). Employees of the information service department of this library participated in the seminar and acquainted students with the technologies used at the moment, their capabilities and some difficulties. In the course of the work, an exchange of views took place.
