Model United Nations – New Silk Way (NSW MUN) program in collaboration with the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University - one of the top academic institutions in Kazakhstan, and the Global Hub on Sustainability of the United Nations Academic Impact initiative (UNAI), is organizing the Mini Model United Nations – New Silk Way (NSW MUN) in Almaty city, Kazakhstan.
Time and date: between 3.00 and 5.30 pm., July 29 2016
Location: Conference Hall, the UN House
NSW MUN aims to reflect the work of the following high-level UN bodies:
a) UN General Assembly and UNESCO;
b) UN Security Council;
Mini-NSW MUN is being organized with the support of the United States Diplomatic Mission to Kazakhstan and the United Nations Information Office.
This Model United Nations New Silk Way Conference is dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 25th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The participants will include students from China and Kazakhstan who are determined to actively participate in Model United Nations conference to make these events very unique and unforgettable. We expect over 50 delegates from this mini-NSW MUN.
