The delegation of the National Cadet Corps of India visited the Military department. This visit was made possible thanks to the signed Memorandum of cooperation. The visit included official meetings, trainings, educational and cultural activities.

First Vice Provost Muhambetkali Burkitbayev told the guests about the history, achievements and prospects of the KazNU, as the flagship of the higher school of Kazakhstan. The Indian delegation visited the museum, research library and the Center for Student Service "Keremet".

Head of the military department of KazNU Colonel Oleg Azhimov read the introductory lecture on the training of students in the military departments of universities, briefed the cadets of the military department with a history of the oldest university of the country. Members of the delegation visited the training facilities of the department, familiarized with the classroom of military-patriotic education was opened by the 24 -th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and lecture-halls named after national heroes of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Momyshuly and Sagadat Nurmagambetov. The training classes on simulators BMP-2, MANPADS, in the interactive laser shooting gallery, in classrooms of tactical training, military topography and map reading, and military history were organized and conducted and these events took place with great interest.

An event with great interest of the visit was visiting Cadets specialized Lyceum "Arystan". The head of the Lyceum, the doctor of pedagogical sciences, member of the Academy of Military Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Retired Sabit Taulanov showed Indian delegation virtually all the important facilities of the Lyceum. During a meeting with students of the Lyceum concert numbers were demonstrated drill techniques with weapons. Competitions between Indian Cadets and Lyceum pupils on swimming, basketball, chess and shooting held emotionally and interesting.

Also, the cadets visited the Central State Museum, the park named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the park named after the 28 Panfilov's guardians, laid flowers to the Monument of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Mahatma Gandhi memorial.

At the round table organized by the military department of KazNU, Colonel Oleg Azhimov expressed confidence in further cooperation. Head of the Indian delegation, Colonel Kirpal Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of the military department, and all event organizers. Each member of the Indian delegation were presented with souvenirs with the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the logos of the KazNU and the military department.
