On March, 12th, 2015 the Center «Ai-Aru» of Faculty of Philology, Literary Studies and World Languages within the limits of the project «100 books» spend the competition of knowledge «The world of Auezov» («novel-epopee «Way of Abay». Philosophy department tutor A.B.Abilkalamova conducted a seminar in the Adaptation and Support Centre for the Alumni of Social Institutions of Almaty "Zhastar Uyi". The seminar was conducted in a format of philosophical thinking training session, and aroused a keen interest of the audience.
Within the framework of the project "Initiative campus on campus" at the Department of the Far East and South Asia Faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU, Japanese studies Week was opened, with the participation of students of the Department and the University of Tsukuba (Japan).
The students of the Tsukuba University and the students of Japanese Studies of Far Eastern and South Asian Studies at Faculty of Oriental Studies in KazNU held the International Student Forum at 6th March. The theme of the forum is “How do you learn languages?”.
