On the threshold of the Constitution day of the Republic of Kazakhstan at faculty of philosophy and political science the round table “The constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan – a political and legal basis of creation of Society of General Work” took place.

The Scientific library with cooperation of the Department of Science and Innovation Activity of Kazakh National university named after al-Farabi conducts the training-seminar of electronic resources of Elsevier databases: Science Direct, Scopus of their using in science and education.

8 projects will be financed within the frames of competition involving 21 universities of Kazakhstan. The leader is Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and three new projects of the University are as follows:

The Bright Ideas project at UNAI member Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Kazakhstan encourages its students to work together to develop simple but effective ideas that could make a real difference to their city, Almaty. The success of the project has now drawn international attention. In a recent article, the online publication QS Top Universities magazine cited some of the projects initiated by students at KazNU.

In accordance with the published data of the Ranking Web of World universities «Webometrics Ranking of World Universities», the official site of al-Farabi KazNU was promoted to 3000 positions up taking the 3014^th place among 18 000 universities sites in the world.
