During the duty on the occasion of the Republic Day "Independence is mine!" An event on this topic was held with students.

      On October 25, 1990, by the decision of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR, the declaration "On the State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR" was adopted. From that moment on, independent Kazakhstan began to be recognized as a separate state with its own vision. The adopted declaration was considered the basis for the future independence of Kazakhstan. With the adoption of this declaration, an independent territory, citizenship, the State budget, independence in international relations and State symbols were approved. The sovereignty and integrity of the territory of Kazakhstan were confirmed from a political, legal and economic point of view. Since then, some changes have been made to the social and political structure of the country in order to create a democratic society. By this act, a new state was founded on the world map – the Republic of Kazakhstan. Now this day is celebrated on a national scale and is celebrated as a holiday. According to the Law No. 267 "On Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan", adopted on December 13, 2001, this day is included in the list of state holidays.

      On September 29, 2022, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Cinematography, culture and holidays", according to which the Republic Day was given the status of a national holiday.

      Republic Day was celebrated on the territory of our country at a high level by our compatriots and relatives in foreign countries, their families and relatives. In dormitory No. 15 we met with students, including students of "6B05206-natural and man-made risks", "6B07302-geoinformatics" and other educational programs related to our department. May our blue flag always fly!
