Striving for quality education

"Two pillars of life: not to get tired of learning, not to learn," as our grandfather Dinmukhamed Kunayev said, education and art are the only guarantees of a bright future. In this regard, the dean of the Faculty of geography and nature Management A. S. On behalf of aktymbaeva, in order to improve the provision of teaching staff in the educational process with educational and methodological data, to increase their readiness for the spring semester and to conduct an educational and methodological practical seminar on the issues of "drawing up a curriculum, syllabus and criteria for assessing knowledge", the chairman of the Academic Council of the faculty A. G. Koshim was entrusted.

The purpose of the Academic Council at the university as a whole is to improve the quality of the educational process on the basis of improving educational programs in accordance with the state mandatory standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Qualification Framework of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professional standards, employers ' requirements and expectations of students. In accordance with this goal, A. S. Based on the principle of "we learn ourselves while teaching others", koshim shared his experience in improving and organizing educational and methodological work for the faculty, made a presentation on this topic and held a seminar for 2 days. The seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the faculty.

Currently, the results of training at Al-Farabi kaznu are characterized by the levels of B. Bloom's taxonomy: understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation of knowledge (cognitive, functional and systemic competence). In her presentation, Asima Galimzhanovna Koshim elaborated on how to correctly apply these levels of taxonomy at the three levels of the educational stage (Bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies), using a specific example.

After the seminar, according to their wishes, some teachers received personal advice from the chairman of the Academic Council and received answers to many questions.

Today, one of the key challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals is "ensuring an all – inclusive and fair quality education and encouraging the possibility of lifelong learning." In connection with this direction, the teaching staff of our faculty, as mentioned above, organize and participate in seminars, exchange experience and improve their knowledge in teachers for the education of a competitive individual with a comprehensive education, with their own tastes, with a broad worldview.
