      Today, a civil society is being formed in Kazakhstan, and democratic public relations are being built. In this regard, the nature and orientation of relations between people, nationalities, religions, including various beliefs, is important for the future of Kazakhstan. The legal basis for solving these issues in modern Kazakh society can be the observance of the principle of conscience. An important event in the history of independent Kazakhstan is the adoption of a new law aimed at streamlining the activities of religious organizations.

      Although religious choice is established by law, creating an ideal type that is effective for society is a difficult task. There is no "world standard" in this matter. At the global level, it can be said that dialogue, dialogue leading to mutual agreement and compromise between States, cultures and religions, is the only way to solve the problems that have developed at the present stage.

      Moral values are universal in nature. It is unrealistic to think that only those who believe in God will be humane, or, conversely, only an atheist will be full-fledged from the point of view of humanism. The spiritual health of society does not depend on the destruction of religion and the triumph of atheism, but is associated with overcoming religious and atheistic fanaticism and intolerance. Conscience is free, and the choice of a religious point of view should be given to each person as his personal matter.
