Main activities 

• ·      Research and development of environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies for fuel use, new materials and nanotechnologies based on methods of electrothermochemical preparation of coals, plasma ignition technology, plasma gasification, hydrogenation and complex processing of solid fuels and waste, plasma pyrolysis og hydrocarbon gases and plasma-electromagnetic technology processing of mineral raw materials, including waste.
• ·       The use of plasma for the implementation of processes for the processing of fuels and wastes of various origins.
• ·       Experimental amd numerical (thermodynamic and kinetic) studies of the processes of plasma ignition of fuels (waste), their gasification and complex processing. 
• ·       Assistance in the training / retraining of highly qualified scientififc personel andspecialists in thermal physics and thermal power engineering.
