1.1 Purpose of the EP |
Training of qualified specialists in the field of the judicial system, prosecutor's offices, investigation and inquiry, who are in demand on the market, have comprehensive legal erudition, fundamental, theoretical and methodological basis, possess the skills of research activities. The program is aimed at forming a professional personality of a specialist in the field of judicial, prosecutorial and investigative activities capable of: - to solve theoretical and scientific-practical problems of the theory and practice of the application of civil, civil procedure, criminal, criminal procedure legislation regulating the activities of courts, prosecutor's offices and pre-trial proceedings; - to introduce innovative technologies, training methods aimed at studying the judicial system, prosecutorial activities, pre-trial proceedings (investigation and inquiry); - independently carry out scientific research and put it into practice through publications (articles, theses) on the research topic. |

1.3 Description of advantages and distinctive features of EP in terms of positioning in the market of educational services
|
The educational program is aimed at training lawyers in the field of administration of justice, the implementation of prosecutorial supervision, pre-trial proceedings. When studying this Educational Program and taking into account the established scientific school of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi, the undergraduate develops the ability to conscientiously perform professional duties, to observe the ethics of a lawyer. The educational program is aimed at developing an understanding of the role and importance of national legislation in the implementation of practical activities, the ability to use theoretical knowledge in the implementation of practical activities of a lawyer, assimilation of tasks assigned to lawyers in the application of legislation, ensuring that a lawyer complies with ethical standards and rules arising from the code of professional ethics lawyer, strengthening the ability to correctly determine the ratio of practical action on the application, etc. making decisions and performing legal actions in strict accordance with the law. The result of mastering the program will be the graduate’s readiness to correctly apply the law, to be able to correctly qualify criminal and administrative violations and to take measures to prevent and curb them. In order to realize this mission, in addition to mastering basic professional disciplines, it is necessary to study subjects in the choice of a criminal law profile. Material and technical base of the Educational Program: To implement the educational program at the faculty there are: 1 Research Center "Problems of combating crime" 2 Mediation Center 3 Forensic Center 4 Center for the improvement and retraining of legal personnel Training Halls Human resources: The faculty in the amount of 90 people focused on four departments. The teaching staff includes academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor Sartaev SS, well-known scientists Doctor of Law, Professor - 20 people; associate professors - 48 people; PhD in the specialty "Jurisprudence" - 15 people. The learning process is carried out in three languages, using the latest techniques. Representatives of employers take an active part in the preparation of doctoral candidates: Parliament, Government, General Prosecutor's Office, Supreme Court, Ministry of Internal Affairs, justice authorities, law enforcement agencies. Base practices: - the system of central and local executive authorities at all levels, - the system of central and local legislative bodies of all levels, - central and local judicial bodies of different competence and jurisdiction, - law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, - central and local prosecutors, - bodies of state and private advocacy, - Notary bodies; - national security agencies - international judicial bodies and institutions and human rights organizations, - a complex of non-governmental organizations and enterprises (firms, companies, banking and other institutions engaged in commercial activities and non-commercial activities). Academic mobility Every year, undergraduate students have the opportunity to travel to scientific internships at leading universities in the world for three months. There are agreements on mutual cooperation in the preparation of doctoral students with universities of the Russian Federation, China, South Korea, USA, France, Germany, Great Britain, and Poland.
