On 21 June 2023, a roundtable with young scholars entitled "The New Geopolitics Around Central Asia" was held with the participation of Philip Musavizade, a visiting scholar from Yale University (USA).

The roundtable was organised by Professor Fatima Kukeyeva, and doctoral students Karlygash Userova, Meruert Usen and master Farangis Kydyrbek.
