International Round Table "Regional Development in Central Asia: Approaches and Priorities"

On May 3-4, 2023 participants of the Targeted Financing Program BR18574168 “The role of Kazakhstan in deepening the regional integration of the Central Asian countries and its sustainable development goals within modern world trends” took part in the International Round Table "Regional Development in Central Asia: Approaches and Priorities" which was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The participants of the round table from the program were: Leyla Delovarova, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and World Economy, Aida Yerimpasheva, c.e.s., Senior Lecturer, PhD students Usen Meruert and Userova Karlygash

The participants of the program prepared reports based on the results of the conducted research upon issues of the conceptualization of regional cooperation in Central Asia, as well as the integration potential of the region in the new geo-economic and geopolitical realities. Following the results of the round table, it is planned to publish articles and prepare a joint monograph on the regional development of Central Asia.
