The Faculty of Chemistry is a division of Lomonosov Moscow State University, engaged in educational and research activities related to a wide range of chemical sciences. It is officially considered to have been formed since October 1, 1929.

Currently, the staff of the Faculty of Chemistry consists of more than 1800 employees, including 315 professors, associate professors, senior teachers, assistants, more than 800 researchers, about 700 engineers, technicians and laboratory assistants. Among the teachers and researchers there are over 250 Doctors of Sciences and more than 750 candidates of Sciences, 13 full members (academicians) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 10 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 1 academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

NRU "BelSU" has gained a foothold in the TOP 200 of the QS rating among countries with developing economies in Eastern Europe and Central Asia and occupies the 195th position. The university ranks 39th among 129 Russian universities.

The university includes the "Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology". The Institute includes 2 faculties – pharmaceutical and biological-chemical. To date, the Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology includes more than 100 scientific and pedagogical workers, 18% of doctors of sciences, 60% of candidates of sciences are involved in the educational process. The V.S. Sobolev Institute of Geology and Mineralogy of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IGM SB RAS) is one of the largest research institutes in the Russian Federation and carries out fundamental and applied research. The Crystal growth Laboratory of IGM SB RAS has accumulated extensive experience in the synthesis, cultivation and research of various functional crystals.

Various crystal growth techniques have been developed and patented. Research is being conducted on current topics and the search for solutions to world-scale problems related to the production of semiconductor materials.

 

 

   The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a higher education institution that began functioning as an institute in 1869. It is a doctoral and research university.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln conducts scientific activities on the basis of research centers.The University offers a variety of directions for bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs (more than 150 directions).
 

 

 

The Laboratory of Reactions and Technological Processes (LRGP) is a joint unit of CNRS and the University of Lorraine, established on January 1, 2010 and based in Nancy. LRGP develops scientific and technological knowledge necessary for the development, study, management and optimization of complex physicochemical and biological processes of substance and energy conversion. The department employs more than 300 people, including about 20 CNRS researchers, 80 research teachers, 45 technical and administrative staff and 180 non-permanent staff (doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, undergraduates, etc.).

 

 

   The Josef Stefan Institute is the largest research institute in Slovenia. The main areas of research are physics, chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, information technology, reactor physics, energy and the environment.
   The Institute of Geotechnics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences was founded on November 22, 1954. The Institute's activities are aimed at fundamental research in the field of mining and processing of rocks and related processes, such as the transfer of energy and mass during the destruction of rocks; the impact of physical, chemical, mechanical and biotechnological processes and modifications on rocks and minerals. The Institute occupies a dominant position in the Slovak Republic in the field of fundamental and applied research in the field of rock crushing, mineral processing, mechanochemistry, mineral biotechnologies and environmental protection.

    Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai (KazNPU), one of the largest universities in Kazakhstan. The university has developed and practically implemented a system of continuing education. Today, KazNPU and its branches include 10 faculties. Specialists are trained at 60 departments in 54 specialties. Founded in 1928, Abai Kazakh National University is the largest and leading university in Kazakhstan, one of the centers of national pedagogical science and culture. The high quality of education, a worthy place among the top 10 universities of the republic and the first place in the ranking of pedagogical universities, allows you to set and solve the most important tasks for the training of highly qualified specialists.
   According to the results of the rating carried out by the National Accreditation Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the university has been ranked second among pedagogical educational institutions since 2006. Today, over 700 highly qualified specialists work at the university. The University's educational programs are accredited for a period of 3 to 7 years by such accreditation agencies as ACQUIN (Germany) and IAAR (Kazakhstan). The accreditation confirms the high quality of KazNWPU educational programs and their compliance with international and national standards.
   

Currently, the Eurasian National University is one of the leading classical universities in Kazakhstan.

The university consists of 13 faculties, including the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Educational activities are conducted by highly qualified specialists, among them well-known scientists, academicians, doctors and candidates of sciences, professors and associate professors, doctors of sciences and teachers with extensive experience in pedagogical and scientific activities.

   Kazphosphate LLP is a leader in the production of phosphate–containing products in the CIS. The company is engaged in geological exploration, extraction of phosphorous ores, production and sale of phosphorus, its derivatives, mineral phosphorus fertilizers, feed phosphates. The company is also engaged in the production of industrial products based on mineral raw materials.  The company was founded in 1999 on the basis of the mines of Zhanatas and Qatar, as well as the plants of the phosphorus complex of the South Kazakhstan region.

 

 

 The Tekeli mining and processing complex, on the basis of which TGPC LLP is building its blast furnace production, has been one of the city-forming enterprises of the country since its foundation to the present day. The formation of the Tekeli Mining and Processing Complex LLP took place on November 1, 2006 as part of Kazzinc JSC, while the processing plant continued to work on the processing of technogenic waste – clinker of zinc production. Currently, a new blast furnace production with a production capacity of 400 thousand tons of pig iron per year is located on the basis of the Tekeli mining and processing complex.
