CODE OF HONOR STUDENT OF AL-FARABI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Community of studentsof Al-Farabi Kazakh National University,

 * Aware of their responsibility for the implementation of the University's mission, 

* Considering it their duty to maintain and develop the culture and image of KazNU as the leading center for training professional personnel of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the leader of domestic education,

 * Striving to form a system of truly democratic relations between students, staff and university administrations in the Treasury,

 * Accepts this Code of Honor of a student of KazNU and undertakes to strictly follow it.  

Article 1 A student of KazNU complies with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of KazNU, Internal Regulations, Rules of residence in dormitories and other regulations of KazNU.  

Article 2 KazNU student knows and honors the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan and national culture. The history and statehood of Kazakhstan, carefully preserves and multiplies the traditions of the university.

 Article 3 KazNU student shows politeness, correctness and attentiveness in communication with other students, teachers and administration of KazNU. 

Article 4 A student of KazNU treats any person with respect, regardless of his origin and nationality, social status, religious or ideological beliefs.

 Article 5 KazNU student strictly fulfills his academic duties, does not allow ethical, academic and legal violations, including:

 - plagiarism

 - forgery 

- using cheat sheets, cheating and hints at all stages of different forms of knowledge control

 - using family or service ties to get a higher score

- bribery 

- cheating the teacher and disrespectful attitude towards him

 - absenteeism and being late for no good reason. 

Article 6A student of KazNU takes care of the safety of the property of KazNU and crosses the manifestations of vandalism on its territory. 

Article 7  The student of KazNU carefully treats the library and information resources of the university, not allowing negligent or harmful attitude to them.

 Article 8 KazNU student looks neat, his appearance corresponds to aesthetic norms. 

Article 9 A student of KazNU leads a healthy lifestyle, strives to improve his cultural, moral and physical level, takes an active part in the socio-cultural, scientific and sports life of the university.    

Article 10 A student of KazNU should not allow illegal acts both at the university and outside it. 

 Article 11 A student of KazNU should not allow the dissemination of information aimed at destabilizing order in the country, as well as participate in unauthorized meetings, demonstrations, rallies, pickets, actions and processions. 

Article 12 A student of KazNU refrains from participating in any activity contrary to the interests of the university, damaging the image and reputation of KazNU.

 Article 13 A KazNU student who finds violations of the provisions of the Code tries to cross it by his own efforts or notifies the student self-government bodies or the administration about it.
