The department “Finance and Accounting” of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an International Training Seminar “Modern approaches to training specialists in the context of global challenges and digital transformation of education”, within the framework of SDG 4 “Quality Education”, as well as within the framework of the project “Zireg - Zintegrowany Program Politechniki Białostockiej Na Rzecz Rozwoju Regionalnego" of the Białystok University of Technology with the participation of teaching staff of the Department of Finance and Accounting and teachers from Poland: Ewa Rauba and Małgorzata Rauba (Białystok University of Technology https://pb.edu.pl/). At the training seminar the following issues were discussed: preparation of research grant projects in Kazakhstan; digitalization of education at the Bialystok University of Technology; implementation and conduct of online courses for teaching students; innovations in education; digital infrastructure of universities: problems and prospects; issues of the digital model of education are considered; the impact of artificial intelligence on higher education. At the conclusion of the Training Seminar, an open discussion was held to discuss the issues under consideration in modern approaches to training specialists.
