Aim

The purpose of the educational program "7M07121 Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies in Chemistry" is a high-quality training in the field of nanotechnology and nano-engineering.

The program is aimed at the formation of a professional personality of qualified personnel capable of:

- interpret and summarize modern scientific knowledge in the field of designing new and improving existing products, of various functional purposes, based on the integrated application of nanomaterials, nanotechnology processes and nanotechnological equipment;

- analyze the possibility of different methods for the synthesis of nanostructures with predetermined properties;

- to put into practice modern ideas of the sciences on the properties of substances and materials when they are transferred to a nanoscale state;

- to conduct independently research work on the direction of nanomaterials and nanotechnology.

6. to solve technological problems in new and unfamiliar contexts by the methods of research, analysis, diagnosis and modeling of the properties of substances and nanomaterials;

7. to apply modern technologies to control the properties of materials, aimed at changing their structure to solve the problems of creating new pilot plants, devices and devices in the nanotechnology industry;

Academic activities

The academic activities of the EP are carried out:

- within the framework of existing regulatory documents and guidelines in the field of higher education in the field of nanotechnology and nanochemistry,

- as a result of the implementation of regulations governing the educational and methodological process at the university;

- generalization and dissemination of new normative legal acts concerning methodological work;

- current and long-term planning of educational and methodological work of the university; coordination of the educational and methodological complex of the discipline (EMCD) of the department for compliance with regulatory legal acts, the working curriculum and the educational program;

- monitoring the provision of the educational process with educational and methodological materials, documenting the results;

- development of teaching materials; development and implementation of a working curriculum.

For the implementation of the educational program at the faculty there are laboratories: Laboratory of physical and chemical methods of analysis, etc.

For the implementation of the EP staff is staffed by 2 doctors of chemical sciences, 4 candidates of chemical sciences, 4 PhD-doctors.

International activity

When comparing the disciplines of the EP "7M07121 Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies in Chemistry" with the disciplines of educational programs of foreign universities, it was revealed that training in the magistracy as an academic process exists in the universities of Russia (Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov) and China (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology ), University of Groningen (Netherlands), University San Diego, Department of NanoEngineering, (San Diego, California).
