The history of the Department of Business Technologies of the Faculty of the Higher School of Economics and Business dates back to 2019. After another nominal transformation in 2011, with the help of the merger of the departments "Management and Business" and "Marketing and Commerce", the Department of "Management and Marketing" was opened. In view of the actively developing innovative technologies and the urgent need for creative competitive specialists, there is a growing demand for highly qualified domestic marketers and logisticians who will research, analyze, promote, and optimize the production and promotion of domestic products.
	Thus, at the faculty of the Higher School of Economics and Business, a separate department of Business Technologies was formed.
	The staff of the department consists of highly professional employees: outstanding academicians-professors, honored scientists and associate professors of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The curricula of specialties prepared by the department have passed the prestigious international accreditation of higher education quality assessment agencies, such as FIBAA, and have proven their quality. As a result, the department was able to prepare highly erudite and creative marketers and logisticians for enterprises of various organizational and legal forms of ownership.
	These days, the graduates of our department are among the best not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the CIS countries. Many graduates, having worked in all sectors of the national and international economy, as well as in public service, have become the pride of our country.
	The department has very strong and broad ties with international partners. In order to improve the quality of education and training of specialists, the department sends its students, undergraduates and doctoral students to partner universities for academic mobility, advanced training, short-term and long-term experience, internships and joint projects.
	Today, the department has a creative and friendly team, which, thanks to constant readiness for cooperation, openness, benevolence, real help to everyone, enjoys the well-deserved respect of colleagues and students of the entire faculty.
